Get Fired Up! September–February
Fired Up! Is a free all-day forest and fire ecology experience for your 4th–6th graders. Our 1930’s Forest Ranger Station will be our headquarters as we use science methodology, field research and fun to discover how we care for our valuable forests here in Central Oregon. This program includes transportation, admission to the Museum, and program costs. Limited availability: first-come, first-served. Click here for more information.

Wednesday, April 21: Schools outside the Bend/LaPine School District
Thursday, April 22: Bend/La Pine Grades K-3
Friday, April 23: Bend/La Pine Grades 4-8
Meet fur trappers, pack your wagon, mine for gold, and observe wild animals. Frontier Days brings your students into the marvelous history of westward expansion and frontier living. Multiple stations are set up around the Museum featuring hands-on activities and opportunities for student-directed learning. Students and chaperones explore activities in small groups at their own pace.
