About our wildlife

Look into the eyes of McKenzie, the big great horned owl. Track Ochoco the bobcat and Snowshoe the lynx as they roam forested atriums. Get face-to-face with Thomas the river otter and get an underwater view of him as he flips and swims. At the Donald M. Kerr Birds of Prey Center, visit magnificent live bald eagles, falcons, owls and Northern spotted owls, a threatened species.

Discover the unique sounds that raptors make through an interactive display. Visit the Desertarium, filled with High Desert reptiles, from Gila monsters to a rattlesnake.

All of the wild animals at the Museum are rescued. They cannot survive in the wild because of injuries or other disabilities.
