Take a Walk Through Time
The Hall of Exploration and Settlement takes visitors on a journey through the High Desert region experiencing the sights and sounds of those who lived and worked in this part of the West. The exhibit brings alive the spirit of the west and provides a walk through time, from a Northern Paiute rock shelter overlooking marshland, to a Hard Rock mine operation and an 1885 settlement town with the businesses and services essential in a High Desert community.
2:45 pm daily: Spirit of the West Guided Tours: (excluding Sundays) The stories of the Hall of Exploration and Settlement come alive when told by one of the Museum's interpreters. Tours are approximately 30 minutes.
